I know long time, no post. Even I can't believe how long I've been away from these cyber pages. It's sort of like exercise I guess, you stop for one day and the next thing you know weeks have passed.
Since it is the job of a blogger to, well, blog, I know I have committed the ultimate blogger's sin by not posting.
I apologize--too much going on, and a lot of trying to keep the day job balls in the air. In this economy I know you understand that juggling effort must be job number one.
That said, please note that even if I have committed the ultimate blogger's sin, in fact, I have NOT committed the fatal WINE blogger's sin. No siree, the sipping, tasting, researching, and reading about wine never stopped:)
I have much to tell you, and by the end of this week, there will be even more to share. I'm headed to the WINE BLOGGERS CONFERENCE in Santa Rosa where I'll meet fellow bloggers as well as wine industry representatives.
Months ago one of my fellow Boston Wine Writers talked about his experiences at the 2008 conference, the first North American conference.
Ken Hoggins of Ken's Wine Guide was so enthusiastic that I resolved right then and there to attend this year.
The itinerary is a whirlwind of tastings, winery visits, and talks by wine bloggers and tech types. (Maybe there will be a session about how NOT to commit the ultimate blogger's sin more than once). I'm sure I'll be overwhelmed, but I think I'll leave jazzed, and ready to do battle with the blank page and the blinking cursor.
